One Year Full Membership Renewal with The American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress
This level of membership is reserved for individuals who hold a Doctorate, Masters Degree or Bachelors Degree. Members can also hold an Associates Degree High School Diploma with a minimum of two (2) years experience working with survivors of traumatic events and/or crisis situations. The Executive Officers reserve the right to grant full membership to an individual who does not meet the aforementioned criteria, but who has made important contributions to the field or to the Academy.

Two Year Full Membership Renewal with The American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress
This level of membership is reserved for individuals who hold a Doctorate, Masters Degree or Bachelors Degree. This level of membership is reserved for students who are still attending school or individuals who have retired from their profession. Associate Members are afforded all benefits of membership with the exception of qualifying for the Diplomate credential; however, the Executive Board has the right to allow Associate Members to apply for the Diplomate and Fellowship credential based on individual circumstances and/or credentials.
